Cookie policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us see what works and get the word out about our shows.

How you give consent

On your first visit to proteatru.ro we show you a banner where you choose which cookies you accept. Statistics and marketing cookies only start if you agree. You can say no as easily as yes, and the site works just the same.

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Which cookies we use

Necessary (always on)

  • pt_consent: remembers what you chose in the cookie banner. Kept for 6 months.
  • WordPress cookies (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*): only for our team, when they log in to manage the site. Visitors don’t get them.

Statistics

We don’t use any statistics tool yet. When we add one, we will list it here, and it will only start with your consent.

Marketing

  • _fbp: set by Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). It shows us whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site and to our shows. Kept for 90 days.
  • _fbc: set by Meta Pixel only when you reach the site from a Meta ad. Kept for 90 days.

With your consent, Meta Pixel tells Meta what you do on the site: pages visited, clicks on ticket buttons, and submissions of the booking, newsletter, contact and volunteering forms. When you submit a form, the conversion is also sent directly from our server (Meta Conversions API), together with your email address irreversibly converted into a code (SHA-256 hash), so Meta can link it to an ad you saw. We don’t send your name or phone number.

External content

  • Google Maps: the maps on the site only load after you press “Show map”. Only then can Google set cookies, under its own rules.
  • Links to MyTicket, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and WhatsApp take you to those services’ websites, which have their own cookie rules.

How to delete cookies

You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you delete pt_consent, we will ask for your consent again on your next visit.
