Family reunions, especially at the holidays, can be a source of joy or of melodrama. With a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper, they can turn into a cocktail of laughter and tears. Especially for an unusual, “long-distance” family whose members have spent years living in countries with different histories and diametrically opposed cultures.

For a few days, the living room of a house in a small industrial town in Romania becomes the neutral ground where values and desires collide, alongside the Easter eggs. Everyone tries to understand what the word “home” still means.

The show was created in about six weeks and produced entirely in Zalău.
